Womens Connections
Phi
Delta Chi Sorority
On November 26, 1984, the first female
Greek organization at the Milwaukee School of Engineering was established
from the Tau Iota Epsilon Fraternity and Triangle Fraternity Little
Sisters Program as Phi Delta Chi Sorority, Alpha Chapter.
The purpose of this organization is to provide the women of MSOE
with an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of the Greek system, to promote
women in engineering and management and provide a wide range of social
activities for it’s members.
Our colors are red,
black, and gold.
Our symbols are the dove, rose, and heart.
Phi
Delta Chi is a social sorority.
We participate in annual activities such as Homecoming and St. Pat.’s, in addition to a number of
intramural sports. We work together
with other Greek organizations in order to organize gatherings and
social events. However,
what we do is not just about partying.
We provide support for one another as needed in scholastic and
social situations. We also do what we
can do for the community in the form of educational and philanthropic
projects. Some past
projects include: Food for
Families, Habitat for Humanity, Easter Seals Bowl-a-Thon, and
volunteering at soup kitchens. We
also have a few traditional activities such as our annual flower sale,
car wash, and summer camping trip.
